There’s something really important about carefully selecting and combining colours in any illustrative work. The whole ‘soothing & soulful’ message of this piece could have easily been lost if the colours were too harsh or didn’t work in harmony with each other.

Vikki states: “I decided that the focus of this piece wold be soft, rounded shapes and a warm colour palette to create a calming vibe for the piece. The colour palette ended up being the main thing to really explore and play around with to get it spot on.“
