We decided that the official, successful project to return common cranes to the UK after 400 years was something to celebrate! Inspired by this article published by the RSPB in 2020, Vikki decided to commemorate the return of the beautiful dancing crane in this illustration.
She states “Cranes are famed for their dancing, which pairs do to reinforce their bonds with each other. I wanted to re-create a sense of connection between these wonderful birds in this piece.”
